Organic Hair Oil

Two oils, both cold-pressed and infused by hand over a slow heat cycle. The Magical Hair Oil layers 35 herbs across 7 base oils for hair fall and weak roots; the Herbal Coconut Oil is lighter, for dryness and daily conditioning. Both in 250 ml and 500 ml.

Organic Hair Oil in Pakistan

Organic hair oil is a blend of cold-pressed carrier oils infused with herbs, used before washing to condition the scalp and reduce the protein loss that happens when hair gets wet. It is not a medicine and it does not regrow hair on a bald scalp. What it does well is protect the hair you have.

Pure Organic makes two oils by hand in small batches. Our Magical Hair Oil infuses 35 herbs across 7 base oils over a slow heat cycle. Our Herbal Coconut Oil is a lighter daily option. Both are filmed while being made — you can watch the batch before you buy the bottle.

What Hair Oil Actually Does

We are going to be straight with you, because this category is full of claims that do not survive contact with evidence.

What hair oil is genuinely good at:

  • Reducing hygral fatigue. Hair swells when wet and contracts when it dries. Repeated over months, this weakens the shaft. Oils that penetrate the cortex — coconut oil especially — reduce that swelling and cut breakage measurably.
  • Conditioning the scalp. A dry, tight scalp flakes and itches. Oil restores the lipid layer.
  • Reducing friction and tangling, which means fewer strands snapping during combing.
  • Delivering herbal actives to the scalp with the contact time that a rinse-off shampoo cannot provide.

What hair oil cannot do, whatever the label says:

  • It cannot fill in a bald patch or reverse a receding hairline.
  • It cannot double your hair length or multiply growth “five times.” Hair grows around 1 cm to 1.5 cm per month and no topical product changes that rate meaningfully.
  • It cannot fix hair loss caused by thyroid disorder, iron deficiency, PCOS, postpartum hormone shifts or androgenetic alopecia. Those are internal, and they need a doctor.
  • It cannot show results in “two to three applications.” Hair growth cycles run in months.

Rosemary oil is the one ingredient in this category with a reasonably strong trial behind it, compared against 2% minoxidil over six months, with comparable results in androgenetic alopecia. That is a real finding and it is also a modest one.

If a hair oil sold in Pakistan promises bald-patch regrowth, it is selling you a story. We would rather you buy from us for the right reason.

How to Oil Your Hair Correctly

Most people in Pakistan were taught to oil overnight. For a lot of scalps that is the wrong instruction.

  1. Warm the oil slightly. Body temperature is enough. Do not heat it on a stove — high heat degrades the herbal actives you paid for.
  2. Section your hair and apply to the scalp first, using your fingertips. The scalp is where the actives need to land.
  3. Massage for 3–5 minutes. Fingertips, not nails. The massage matters as much as the oil.
  4. Run what’s left through the mid-lengths and ends. These are the oldest, most damaged parts of the hair.
  5. Leave it 30 minutes to 2 hours for most people. See the table below.
  6. Wash it out with two shampoo passes. The first pass lifts the oil, the second cleans the scalp. Needing two washes is normal.

How much to use: roughly 5 ml for short hair, 10 ml for shoulder-length, 15 ml for long. A 250 ml bottle should last one person around two months at 2–3 applications a week.

How Long to Leave Oil In — By Scalp Type

Scalp Contact time Frequency Note
Dry, tight, flaky from dryness 2 hours to overnight 2× per week The one case where overnight genuinely helps
Normal 1–2 hours 2× per week
Oily 30–45 minutes 1–2× per week Longer contact triggers more oil production
Dandruff-prone 45 minutes maximum 1–2× per week Read the warning below
Acne-prone along hairline 30–45 minutes, scalp only 1× per week Keep oil off the forehead and temples
Colour-treated 1–2 hours 1–2× per week Oiling before washing helps colour last

A warning nobody in this category will give you

Dandruff is usually driven by Malassezia, a yeast that feeds on scalp lipids. Leaving oil on a dandruff-prone scalp overnight, week after week, gives that yeast exactly what it wants. Many people oil more because their scalp is flaking, and make the flaking worse.

If you have active dandruff, keep oil contact under 45 minutes and always wash it out the same day. Pair it with Amla Reetha Shampoo. If flaking is severe, painful, or spreading past the hairline, see a dermatologist — no oil is the answer to that.

What’s Inside Our Oils

Ingredient Function Evidence strength
Coconut oil Penetrates the cortex; reduces protein loss during washing Strong — one of the few oils with solid data
Rosemary Supports scalp microcirculation Strongest in this category; one good trial vs. 2% minoxidil
Amla Vitamin C and tannins; strengthens the shaft Traditional use, limited trials
Onion seed Sulphur-rich; supports keratin formation Limited; small studies in alopecia areata
Fenugreek (methi) Mucilage and proteins; soothes the scalp Traditional use
Bhringraj Classical Ayurvedic hair tonic Traditional use
Kalonji (black seed) Anti-inflammatory; thymoquinone content Emerging
Hibiscus Amino acids and mucilage; slip and shine Traditional use
Castor oil Very heavy; adds slip, coats the shaft Weak for growth, useful for conditioning
Almond oil Vitamin E; light conditioning Moderate

We publish evidence strength because you are spending Rs. 2,300 and you deserve to know which parts of the blend are doing measurable work and which parts are traditional.

Storage — Why This Matters More With Organic Oil

Cold-pressed oils with no synthetic antioxidants go rancid. A 500 ml bottle used twice a week takes months to finish, so storage is not a footnote.

  • Keep the bottle away from direct sunlight and off the bathroom windowsill.
  • Store below 25°C where you can.
  • Close the cap properly — oxygen is what turns oil.
  • Use within 12 months of opening.
  • If it smells sharp, sour or like old paint, stop using it. That is oxidation, and rancid oil irritates the scalp instead of helping it.

Buy the 250 ml if you are new to us. Buy the 500 ml once you know you will finish it.
